ACT NOW: Tell Your Senators to
Put Funding for Scenic Byways Funding in the FY 23 THUD Appropriations Bill
The Senate Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development (THUD) Committee is working on its FY 23 Appropriations Bill, which has the opportunity to include funding for the National Scenic Byways Program. We need your help to urge members of the Senate to request at least $58 million to fund this critical program.
Tell your senators that funding for scenic byways must be included in the FY 23 THUD Appropriations Bill.
If Congress fails to include byways funding in this bill, there may be no funding for byways in FY 23.
Thanks to the support of byways advocates like you who took action last month, 37 representatives signed on to a letter from Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) requesting this funding in the House's version of the legislation. Now it's time for the Senate to do its part.
Simply out this form to send a message to your senators urging them to take action to ensure future funding for scenic byways.
