Introducing Our New Photo Contest, A Gold Award from ASAE & More

Calling all photographers: share your best scenic images of cities, landscapes, waterways, and more for our new America the Beautiful Photo Contest. The contest is open to photographers of all levels. The entry deadline is September 14.

 

Scenic America Wins Gold Award

For the second year in a row, Scenic America earned a "Power of A" Gold Award for excellence in advocacy work from the American Society of Association Executives. The award recognizes our success in securing funding for the National Scenic Byways Program for the first time in nine years.

 

Celebrating the First Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act

Signed into law on August 4, 2020, the GAOA provides full and permanent funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund. In honor of the anniversary, August 4 is celebrated as Great American Outdoors Day, with free admission to national parks.
