SAY NO TO HUNDREDS OF DIGITAL AD KIOSKS
OBSTRUCTING OUR SIDEWALKS!
LAST TUESDAY, October 25, 2022 the Council’s Trade, Travel, and Tourism Committee approved expediting the installation of 300-500 interactive digital advertising Kiosks, 8 feet in height (described by some as giant smartphones) that will be installed along our neighborhood streets.

The item was forwarded to the City Council for approval over the objections of the City Attorney (recommending seven steps be implemented prior to entering into any contract) and Committee and Councilmember Mike Bonin, who submitted a Minority Report requesting a report-back with the following included:
If the City Council ignores the City Attorney and Councilmember Bonin’s objections and approves IKE, Angelenos will once again be victims of a Mayor and Council mired in corruption, that prioritizes back-room dealing over transparency with the public.
