Billboard Battle Heats Up in San Jose

The San Jose City Council will vote on February 15 on a proposal to end the city's long-time ban on digital billboards despite widespread public opposition. A group of activists, No Billboards San Jose, has been urging residents and business owners to speak out against this plan. The group scored a victory last as the San Jose Airport Commission recommended that the council deny permits for two such signs near the airport.
