ACT NOW: Tell Your Representative to
Keep Scenic Byways Funding
in the FY 2022 Appropriations Bill
Congress is now working on the FY 2022 Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development (THUD) Appropriations Bill. The Senate's THUD Appropriations Bill includes $16 million in funding for scenic byways. Urge your Representative to take action now to ensure that the House supports the funding and does not attempt to remove it in the final bill.
Tell your Representative to contact House THUD Appropriations Committee Chairman David Price (R-NC) and Ranking Member Mario Diaz-Balart (D-FL) to urge them to keep scenic byways funding in the final version of the FY 2022 Appropriations Bill.
Negotiations are happening right now, and we need the House to know that this funding is critical to the Scenic Byways community.
If the House chooses to cut byways funding from this bill, the funds put in the bill by the Senate may be lost and there will be no dedicated funding in FY 2022.
Fill out this form to send a message to your Representative so that our nation's most significant roads don't miss out on this funding, which supports projects that create new jobs and jump-start tourism in communities across the country.
